Travis Kelce Just Dropped $6M on a Kansas City Hideaway Because of Taylor Swift, It’s 17,000 square feet and includes six bedrooms and six bathrooms

Travis Kelce reportedly knows loctions where he and Taylor Swift can conceal themselves.

According to TMZ, the Chiefs tight end recently purchased a mansion in Kansas City for $6 million after Swifties purportedly began to flock to his former residence. Reportedly uneasy with the level of public access to his former residence by admirers and paparazzi, the 34-year-old purchased a fortress of seclusion in a gated community in Leawood in an attempt to ward them off. It also helps that the NFL star purchased the apartment entirely in cash. Perhaps his fiancée, who is also a real estate magnate and musician, has taught him a thing or two.

The opulent estate of the athlete encompasses an area of almost 17,000 square feet and comprises six bedrooms and six toilets. The listing indicates that the three-acre property was constructed in 1998 and has since undergone an extensive renovation at the hands of contractor Harry Roth and Wolfgang Trost Architects. A swimming pool, a lighted tennis and pickleball court, a mini golf course, and a practice green are just a few of the athletic features included in the current residence. Additionally, the property features a wine cellar, waterfall, and garage, where it is likely that the Ohio native will store his renowned escape vehicle, a 1970 Chevelle 408 Stroker convertible.

Since being drafted by the Chiefs in 2013, Kelce has accumulated several properties for his portfolio. The New York Post reports that the two-time Super Bowl champion purchased his former residence in Kansas City’s affluent Briarcliff West neighborhood in 2019. Kelce paid a substantial $995,000 at the time for the 10,000-square-foot home that included a swimming pool, fitness center, two bathrooms, and a movie theater. In the same year, he paid $355,000 for a condominium in Orlando, Florida. Swift’s property investments, which are valued at $150 million, are the only thing more outstanding than the proceeds from her Eras Tour.
