During the World Superyacht Awards, the Motor Yacht of the Year was awarded

From the very outset, it was evident that the superyacht Kenshō, belonging to the Admiral, was a victorious vessel. As a result of its innovative design, the 246-footer was awarded the title of Boat of the Week by Robb Report not long after it was presented to the public in the year 2021. After breaking the rules, the vessel has now been awarded the highest awards at the World Superyacht Awards.

During the weekend, Kenshō was honored with the title of Motor Yacht of the Year at the renowned event that was hosted by Boat International. During the 18th edition of the awards, which took place on May 20 in Istanbul, Turkey, an impartial panel of highly regarded judges cast their votes in a secret ballot to determine which vessels were the best in each of the sixteen categories. The coveted title was won by Admiral’s flagship, which triumphed over the eight other individuals who had won the Semi-Displacement and Displacement Motor Yacht classes by a significant margin.

Kenshō, a yacht designed by Azure Yacht Design and Archineers Berlin, is characterized by a hull that is a reflective turquoise color and graceful exterior lines. The name of the yacht comes from the Japanese concept for being at one with nature. “Smooth and organic shapes” and natural materials (teak, marble, onyx, and so on) are the defining characteristics of the beautiful interior design that was created by Jouin Manku and is spread out across four decks. Particularly noteworthy is the fact that studio cofounder Sanjit Manku chose to use high-volume areas and expansive sea views rather than a traditional yachting arrangement. Additionally, in order to improve the amount of space available for guest accommodations and amenities, the crew relocated the engines to a designated “tank” deck.
