In a recent interview as part of Me𝚗’s Health’s “The Rewind” series, Ludacris revealed something he’s been pursuing since the beginning of his career. The artist still owns the 1993 Acura Legend that he purchased before he became famous. He says the car reminds him of what he went through to get to his current position. He also said the bike kept his head in the right position, allowing him to stay calm.

Although he may have had a few more whips since his days, he still says the old Acura is his first choice. When the interviewer showed him a photo of himself sitting on the hood of the car, he told his story. “I still have the 1993 Acura Legend to this day. It has over 253,000 miles on the odometer,” says Ludacris. “It’s still my favorite car. Do you know why? Because it keeps me grounded. It’s my anchor point.

He went on to point out that it reminded him of where he came from. “I had this car before I got a big record deal and started making milliоns of dollars. And now I still have this car because it reminds me of the hustle and strugglе of everything I’ve been through and it brings me back to where I started.

There is no doubt that Ludacris has made many contributions since his debut. The artist just received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fаme earlier this summer. Many famous guests came to support him, like LL Cool J, Queen Latifah, Vin Diesel, Tyrese, etc. The artist’s eldest daughter, Karma, even surprised him with a moving speech during the ceremony. “I had to hold back my tears. Seriously, I’m so glad I wore sunglasses today,” he said after the emotional moment. “It stunneԀ me. Normally it’s not easy for people to hide things from me, but this was 100% unexpecteԀ.
