Stephen Curry re-injured his ankle after losing to Bull Chicago

Stephen Curry, star of the Warriors, hurt his already ailing right ankle again on Thursday night, though the extent of the injury was unclear at the time.

We know what it’s like to be in his shoes; we’ve dealt with time off too, and we always pull together. As soon as he returns, whenever that may be, I will know he is prepared to depart. We simply hope he gets well soon and takes his time.

After scoring 15 points on 5-for-18 shooting in nearly 29 minutes, Curry limped off the court as he exited the game with 3 minutes and 51 seconds remaining. He had injured his ankle while driving to the basket.

He got off to a slow start, going 0-for-7. He missed four of his first five 3-point attempts and finished the first half with only five points, as Golden State trailed 63-59. On the next pitch with 9:35 remaining, he hit a deep fly.
As he approaches his 36th birthday on March 14, Curry continues to be the Warriors’ leading scorer with 27.2 points per game. He also averages 5.0 assists and 4.4 rebounds.
