Introducing Kronos: Highland Systems’ Revolutionary Armored Speed Demon for Military and Rescue Missions

With the introduction of the Kronos, an armored speed demon with eleven seats, Highland Systems is extending its impressive lineup of vehicles in a most spectacular way. This hybrid beast, which has 1,200 horsepower and folding wings, is obviously inspired by the manta ray. Established by Ukrainians and presently situated between the United Arab Emirates and the United Kingdom, Highland Systems is a mysterious organization that bills itself as an R&D and project management hive that gathers a variety of engineering experts from the defense industry.

Built for a combination of military, commercial, and purported rescue missions, Kronos appears uninterested in luxury or tourism based on the bleak, mostly windowless interior. Weighting approximately 10,000 kg (22,000 lb), Kronos will be slightly longer than 9 m (29.6 ft). If you want to start a string of accidents involving oncoming traffic due to people stopping to stare at it, you can tow it on a trailer by folding its large wings upward.

With ten seats and a driver, it can be submerged in the water. A diesel generator and a 1,200-horsepower, 2,400-Nm (1,770-lb-ft) electric motor powering a waterjet propulsion system are combined to form the hybrid powertrain. In the grand scheme of things, its maximum critical depth and working depth are both 250 m (820 ft) and 100 m (328 ft), respectively. The air supply lasts for about thirty-six hours
