The idea behind the expeditionary yacht Caspian Star, which is 45 meters in length

The 45-meter expedition boat Caspian Star has been revealed by Baku-based studio Abbasli Design. Ujjal Abbasli, the bureau’s founder and main designer, called the boat a yacht with a “expeditionary soul” that was built to sail on the ocean at any latitude.

The Caspian Star’s superstructure is composed of aluminum, while the hull is composed of steel. The yacht measures 2.25 meters in draft and 8.8 meters in beam. The yacht will have a maximum speed of 22 knots and a cruise speed of 17 knots. The boat can accommodate seven crew members in addition to ten guests.

With a modest superstructure and a lot of glass, the concept allows the yacht to have a continuous connection with the water and the surroundings, creating the illusion of a continuous view from every direction.

On the aft deck is the Caspian Star entertainment center. A spacious outdoor beach club is created by the platforms opening on the sides. An infinity pool sits in the middle, reaching many stories down to a swimming deck. There is a sunbathing area, dining room, guest bar, and Jacuzzi pool on the upper deck.
