Score Drogba’s luxury Villa: A look inside the Football Legend’s £6.25m Surrey home with six bedrooms and an indoor swimming pool

DIDIER DROGBA has put his superb Surrey mansion up for sale.

But any die-hard Chelsea fan wanting to follow in their hero’s footsteps will have to fork out £6.25million.

The large pad, secured by an electric gate at the front, has six large bedrooms and seven beautiful bathrooms for the owners to enjoy.

Descending the picturesque spiral staircase through the heart of the house, there are also no less than five reception rooms while the spacious open-plan kitchen is made of wood and marble with integrated appliances.

And to top it all off, there’s even an incredible entertainment complex on the 11,000 square foot property.

This includes a jacuzzi, sauna, and a large indoor swimming pool with stunning views of the beautiful lawned garden through bi-fold doors.

The listing for Drogba’s house on Fine & Country states: “On the ground floor, the five main reception rooms are grouped around a large reception hall with a wide staircase leading to all floors.

“To the front is a multi-purpose office and reception room, to the rear is an impressive double-sided lounge of large proportions, a family room, and a spacious open plan kitchen, fitted with modern integrated appliances and a central island for casual dining, leading to a charming high-roofed orangery.

“Located behind an electric gate, this property covers just under an acre of land.

“A large driveway with ample parking and a two-story multi-vehicle garage provides additional accommodation with a one-bedroom, one-bathroom apartment.

“To the rear is a south-facing landscaped garden, with manicured lawns extending from the terrace area away from the main house – a wonderful place to relax and entertain.”

The incredible home is located in the luxury Crown Estate in Oxshott, close to Chelsea’s Cobham training ground.

It is ideally located in a forest, offering plenty of privacy whilst being close to the M25, A3, Gatwick, and Heathrow airports as well as some of the country’s most prestigious schools.

Drogba lived in this house during his second stay in Chelsea, ending in 2015, with his ex-wife Lalla Diakité.

The couple separated in 2020 and Drogba has now decided to sell this villa.

The Ivorian player is a legend at Stamford Bridge, where he scored 164 goals in 381 matches, winning 12 major titles including 4 Premier League titles and the Champions League in 2012.

After leaving the Blues permanently, he played for the Montreal Impact and the Phoenix Rising but retired in 2018.

Since then, he has invested a lot of resources in a fund to support the residents of his hometown and engaged in media work.

But he has an interest in events at Chelsea, where he is still revered as a legend.

It has seen new owner Todd Boehly spend the most money of any Premier League team this summer on players such as Wesley Fofana, Marc Cucurella, Raheem Sterling, and Kalidou Koulibaly.

But it was the signing of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang on deadline day that prompted Drogba to reveal how he had long tried to convince the Gabonese star to sign for the Blues.

He tweeted: “Finally!!!!! Remember when we talked about this years ago? Congratulations little brother.”
