This Superyacht Concept, which measures 364 feet in length, was designed by a professional racecar driver

Being both a professional racing driver and a yacht designer is a pretty awesome distinction for Juan Cayo Azcarate. His most recent superyacht concept also made use of his diverse skill set.

Eleuthera, named for the largest island in the Bahamas, is 364 feet tall with a fiercely sporty form influenced by automotive design. The streamlined craft draws inspiration for its design from marine life, including tiger sharks, humpback whales, and stingrays. For example, the exhaust resembles a stingray’s fin, while the vertical windows are similar to a shark’s gills.

Aside from its sleek look, Eleuthera is intended for cross-oceanic travel. The superyacht was created as a result of a partnership between the people at Brythonic Yachts and Sea-Horse Yachts, Azcarate’s own Italian studio, and other experts. Its lightweight aluminum hull, sharp reverse bow, and triple MTT engines allow it to effortlessly navigate both shallow waters and open waters. The 364-footer will, according to its designers, be able to travel 7,000 nautical miles or more.
