The luxury speed machine VQ115 Veloce wants to be the fastest aluminum superyacht in the world

Vanquish Yachts, a Netherlands-based company, specializing in building high-performance, custom aluminum motor yachts. The shipyard describes the VQ115 Veloce, which was ordered in 2020 by a returning customer, as a tri-deck powerboat with a top speed of nearly 51 knots (58 mph/93 kph), which is quite outstanding for a 115-foot (35-meter) yacht.

With three MTU-Rolls-Royce 2600s engines, the ship will have a maximum range of 500 nm (926 km) when operating on two of them.

The VQ115 Veloce, with its sleek, narrow hull and distinctive Vanquish-specific beautiful shape and clean lines, was designed to maximize efficiency and performance at high speeds. Guido de Groot was given charge of the exterior design, and he was able to give the Veloce the appearance of a cross between a raceboat and a luxury yacht.

The VQ115 has three cabins—a VIP cabin, a guest cabin, and a full-beam master suite—each with its own bathroom, accommodating up to eight passengers. The current berths can also hold a crew of four people.

The Veloce’s owner requested a mobile furniture-equipped yacht that could be customized for any situation. In terms of entertainment, the exterior of the yacht is filled with social and leisure spaces. This speed machine features a big rear deck, a flybridge sunbathing area, an open foredeck with a secret jacuzzi, and an abundance of water toys. The superyacht will hold a VQ11 tender and a VQ16 tender, among other things. The Veloce’s interior features include a dedicated media room with a big TV and a top-tier sound system.
