Derul leaves Warner Bros. in May 2020, alleging “creative differences,” following the unfavorable reception of his 2019 EP “2Sides.” Is the 30-year-old done yet?

The Florida native already owned a $3 million home in remote Tarzana, Los Angeles, but records show he spent $3.6 million on a nearly new Encin home. In December 2020, an unknown buyer paid $3.3 million for this approximately 5,000 square foot modern ranch.

The new owner left immediately. After it was relisted six months later, it took Derul another eight months to purchase the house. The listing photos show that the person left a long time ago as the interior is partly uncovered and almost completely barren.
