Cardi B and Offset are being sued about the Beverly Hills home they rented; they are said to have neglected the property and neglected to pay their rent.
The documents, which TMZ was able to obtain, show that Cardi and Offset moved out of the opulent pad in October without providing any notice. They had moved in early in 2022.
When they departed, they were late on their utility and rent payments, according to the landlord.
To make matters worse, once the pair departed, the owners claim to have discovered “significant property damage” that included bur𝚗 marks on tables, counters, and cabinets, damaged furniture, holes in the walls, and permanent scratches in the carpets, rugs, and drapes.
hey put the estimated cost of the damages at approximately $85,000. The landlord claims they have made numerous unsuccessful attempts to settle the matter.
The property turmoil follows the breakup of Cardi and Offset, who, as you may recall, went on a debaucherous, expletives-filled rant in which she accused Offset of mistreating her and declared that they were no longer in a relationship.
We asked Cardi B and Offset’s representatives for comments, but we haven’t heard back as of yet.
