Frank Neubelt Yacht Design and the German yacht couture firm collaborated to create the new superyacht idea known as SCREEN – 70

Frank Neubelt, principal of Frank Neubelt Yacht Design (FNYD), is a naval architect who created the completely defined superyacht platform known as SCREEN – 70. With over 25 years of experience in yacht design and naval architecture, Neubelt claims that SCREEN has undergone a thorough two-year analysis.

At 1400 GT, the spacious 230 ft/70 m global cruiser provides her owner and his family or visitors with 7535 sq ft/700 sq m of living space.

There is a big master-stateroom configuration with separate front and aft terraces on the roomy private owner’s deck. The guest facilities consist of two VIP staterooms on the upper deck and four twin bedrooms on the lower deck, each with a terrace and a living area with a study/office and lots of windows.

There is a large 1,184 square foot (110 square meter) pool and beach club with an integrated movie theater and well-defined areas at the bow with storage for large tenders and toys. With a maximum speed of 16 knots/18 knots, the yacht’s sustainable hybrid diesel-electric drivetrain provides Pacific range.

A guest bathroom and a two-person elevator that serves all four decks are located in the central lobby, which is located on the main level front of the roomy guests’ and friends’ salon. Sliding doors on the forward starboard side divide the dining space from a portside home-galley, which can be used as a private owner galley or for “chef – show cooking” experiences. The lower crew deck houses the main galley. Dumb waiters service every level, even the sun deck, and there are service pantries on each of the four decks.
