Baglietto unveiled the new X50 50-meter Explorer Yacht

Francesco Paszowski, a longtime Florentine partner, created the latest semi-custom 49.9-meter explorer model, which Baglietto has unveiled. At the Italian shipyard’s 170th anniversary celebration held in Milan on February 8, the new line, XO, was unveiled together with the Fast50 model. The X50 will be the first model in the series, and talks with a possible owner have already begun.

The phrase “Explore, Experience, Observe” is the focal point of the XO collection. Its goal is to provide a “extraordinary panoramic point” for long-distance trips, which is made feasible by the yacht’s unique features, which include an observation lounge, a drone, and plenty of glass. The 500GT yacht is influenced by “other universes” such as the automotive industry, as evidenced by its powerful profile, volume, and form.

The X50, according to Paszowski, is “completely disruptive” since it separates the wheelhouse from the cruising area and allows the owner to “live from the front,” as he put it during the conference.

The idea originated with the well-known ETR 300 ‘Settebello’ train of the 1950s, which had a first-class panoramic salon below the passenger section and a driving station above. Rather than following this arrangement, the boat keeps the pilot bridge on the upper deck and reserves the exclusive area above it for visitors.
