The woman with a tattoo of rapper Eminem all over her body achieved a Guinness world record
Nikki Patterson (38 years old) put her nаme in the Guinness Book of World Records when she had 28 tattoos related to Eminem, of which 16 were portraits of the American rapper. Nikki Patterson (Scotland) said that Eminem-related tattoos made her change her life and learn to love herself more.
Guinness World Records confirmed to CNN that Patterson received the title of “person with the most tattoos of the same musician on the body” on March 31.
Of the total 54 tattoos on her body, 28 are related to Eminem with 16 portrait tattoos of male rappers. Those special tattoos helped her win the world record.
The nail technician from Aberdeeen (Scotland) said Stan was the first Eminem song she heard when she was a teenager.
“I really loved him and that song. I had never heard anything like it and I showed it to my dad,” Patterson told CNN.
At the age of 17, she attended Eminem’s concert for the first time and has now seen him perform live 7 times. Patterson once bought a ticket to fly to New York (USA) to see his idol perform at Yankee Stadium in 2010.
She also often receives gifts from friends that include T-shirts, hoodies, posters, and DVDs with themes related to the American rapper.
When he turned 19, Patterson affirmed his love for his idol with his first tattoo, which was a backwards letter E in his nаme.
“That tattoo is suρer small, just the size of a coin. I did it because I didn’t want to make it obvious that it was related to Eminem, but now that I think back, I think it was funny,” she shared.
The 35-year-old woman plans to get many new tattoos related to her idol, including his signature.
Before meeting tattoo artist David Corden and getting his first portrait of Eminem in 2017, Patterson only had a few small tattoos of the 47-year-old rapper’s lyrics.
“That portrait tattoo changed my life overnight. I went from hating my skin to appreciating it,” Patterson said. She said she used to be very self-conscious about her weight, but thanks to tattooing, she loved herself more.
She then returned to Corden seven more times to get tattoos of Eminem portraits. The remaining eight portraits of the singer were done by tattoo artists Yarson Stachowicz and Jay Hutton.
Patterson posted the photos to his Instagram, sharing plans for new photos in the future. Since receiving the world record, she has also attracted more attention.
“I posted the hashtag #SignMeShady because I wаnted to get a tattoo of Eminem’s signature on my body. My personal page is also to attract his attention. I’m excited at the thought of the attention. That might bring a surprise.”
However, Patterson confided that along with her popularity, she had to receive many maliciоus comments from netizens. She is sad when people only look at the fact that she has many tattoos and then judge her as a person, not paying attention to her circumstances or past experiences.
