Basketball superstar Russell Westbrook purchases a $37M estate in LA across from LeBron James just because he loves his senior so much

Russell Westbrook, a basketball player known for his polarizing personality and impressive career achievements, has lived in several luxurious properties throughout his career. One of his former homes, a 13,425 square foot mansion in Brentwood Park, was purchased by Westbrook and his wife Nina Earl for $19.8 million in 2018.

Designed by Los Angeles architect Ken Ungar, the mansion features six bedrooms, eight bathrooms, and a “modern traditional” aesthetic. Some of the amenities include a wine cellar, a spacious living room with a shelf and fireplace, a playground, garden, a swimming pool, and a movie theater.

Despite enjoying the lavish lifestyle provided by the mansion, Westbrook decided to sell it in 2022 after acquiring two more properties: a $30 million modern farmhouse owned by British model Petra Ecclestone and a $37 million mansion located across from his then-Lakers teammate LeBron James. Westbrook ultimately sold the Brentwood Park mansion for $25 million to Ben Belldegrun, which still resulted in a profit of at least $5 million.

Although Westbrook’s career has had its ups and downs, he has been able to afford such extravagant properties thanks to a lucrative contract he signed with the Oklahoma City Thunder in 2017, which was worth $207 million over five years.

Currently, Westbrook is playing for the Los Angeles-based Clippers, having signed a one-year deal worth $785,000. Despite his impressive net worth of $200 million, as reported by Celebrity Net Worth, Westbrook’s recent struggles on the court have led some to question his future in the NBA.
