NBA star Jordan Clarkson builds $7.5M mansion with mini golf course for golf ball-loving daughter

Jordan Clarkson recently made a significant decision by selling his sparsely used mansion in Sherman Oaks for an impressive $7.5 мιIIιоn. This amount surpassed both his initial asking price of $6.8 мιIIιоn and the $5.7 мιIIιоn he had paid for the house back in late 2020 when he was still a member of the Los Angeles Lakers.

Public records have revealed that the new owner of this modern home is none other than DJ and electronic dance music (EDM) producer Nick Miller, popularly known as Illenium, from Denver.

In case you’re not familiar with Illenium, he is a talented musician who first entered the music industry in 2013 as a relatively unknown bedroom producer. His breakthrough came in 2017 when he won “Remix of the Year” at the Electronic Music Awards for his work on “Say It.” Since then, he has become a prominent figure in the music scene, earning a spot on Forbes’ “30 Under 30” list and achieving success with his 2019 album “Ascend,” which reached No. 14 on the Billboard 200 chart. Illenium has also become a regular performer at major music festivals like Coachella and Bonnaroo. His journey to success is all the more remarkable considering his past struggles with Ԁгᴜɡ addiction.

The walled and gated mansion, constructed in 2019 in the popular modern farmhouse style, boasts an impressive array of features. With six bedrooms and eight bathrooms, it spans 8,000 square feet and includes an expansive brick motorcourt. The interior showcases a rustic-chic design with custom woodwork, lighting, and seamless integration of indoor-outdoor living spaces. Notable highlights include a loft-style living space, a movie theater with a drop-down projector, and an executive office separated by a glass wall from the stunning “showroom” garage.

The gourmet kitchen is equipped with high-end Wolf and SubZero appliances, a spacious center island with a breakfast bar, and a butler’s pantry. Adjacent to it is the family room, featuring a soaring fireplace adorned with book-matched quartz slabs and a vaulted ceiling. Additionally, the formal dining area houses a transparent, temperature-controlled wine showcase.

The mansion boasts two master bedrooms, with the larger one featuring a fireplace, two walk-in closets, a patio, and a luxurious quartz bathroom complete with two vanities, a double shower, and a steam unit.

The expansive half-acre property is beautifully landscaped and offers a flat, grassy grounds. Outdoor amenities include a patio with a handcrafted firepit, an infinity-edged pool and Jacuzzi, a fireside cabana, a built-in BBQ, a putting green, and a sports court.

Zeev Perez from Keller Williams Realty Encino-Sherman Oaks represented the seller in the transaction, while Ken Zietz from Rodeo Realty represented the buyer, Illenium.

Overall, Jordan Clarkson’s decision to sell his mansion at a remarkable price and its acquisition by Illenium, a renowned EDM producer, highlights the intersection of sports and music in the realm of celebrity real estate.
