American tech billionaire Elon Musk insists he has no romantic relationship with Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni.

According to The Hill, on September 26, billionaire Elon Musk denied rumors of a romantic relationship between him and Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni. Speculations about a “romantic relationship” between the two began to appear after the American billionaire praised Ms. Meloni at an event in New York earlier this week.

“I attended that event with my mother. I have no romantic relationship or anything like that with Prime Minister Meloni,” Mr. Musk said.

US media reported that the American tech billionaire was the one who presented the Italian Prime Minister with the Global Citizen Award from the Atlantic Council think tank. A photo of Mr. Musk and Ms. Meloni sitting at the dinner table was also later released.

“Prime Minister Meloni is a person with a beautiful soul, even more beautiful than her appearance. I have always admired the great things she has done as Prime Minister of Italy. She is also sincere and straightforward – something I can’t always say about politicians,” Musk said when presenting the award to Meloni.

In turn, Prime Minister Meloni described billionaire Elon Musk as a “precious genius”. Meloni also emphasized that the decision to present her with the award had been made months in advance.

In recent years, billionaire Elon Musk has traveled to Rome several times to meet with the Italian Prime Minister to discuss artificial intelligence and other topics.
