Dodgers star Mookie Betts quietly renovates $15M LA Hills estate to gift wife on her birthday

Mookie Betts, a star for the Dodgers, purchased a home following his 2020 World Series victory. The Major League Baseball player has offered his Los Angeles property with distinctive updates.

The six-time All-Star’s $9.9 million Encino house is up for sale. Chip Kelly, the coach of UCLA, sold the spread to Betts for $7.6 million. There have been numerous opulent renovations to the property since it was built in 2018. Betts constructed an indoor basketball court with a light blue color scheme and a “MB” emblem.

A separate, two-story guest house with two bedrooms, a full kitchen, and a sitting area on the first floor is part of the grounds. The half-acre property features an outdoor kitchen, cabana, underground fire pit, and zero-edge pool. You have access to a private putting green for golf practice.

The highlight of the estate is the nine-bedroom, ten-bathroom main house. Inside are oak floors and high ceilings. The foyer is two stories high and has a circular staircase with skylights. The chef’s kitchen is equipped with quartz countertops, a walk-in pantry, and top-notch appliances. The living room features a hearth.

Your entertainment options include steaming in the sauna or watching movies at home. The master suite is private, of course. The apartment includes a sitting area with a TV and fireplace, two spacious walk-in closets, two spa-like en suite bathrooms, and a private balcony. With a $365 million Dodgers contract, Betts is guaranteed ten years in Los Angeles.
