Akademiks begs Megan Thee Stallion not to respond back at Eminem cause it might damage her career ππ
DJ Akademiks recently discussed Eminem’s Megan Thee Stallion lines on Slim Shady’s new song, “Houdini,” which is taken from his upcoming album, Th Death Of Slim Shady (Coup De Grace), his 12th solo studio album.
Eminem raps in the song, “Would I actually have a shot at a feat if I were to ask Megan Thee Stallion if she would collab with me? (Ha!) / I’m not sure, but I’m happy to be back, as in Abracadabra. Em uses a double entendre to refer to Megan’s shooting incident with Tory Lanez, saying that he would be unlikely to acquire a feature from her. The phrase “shot at her feet” is an acronym for “feature.”
“This is kind of how I always felt about, even when Drake said it and other people have made mention to it,” Akademiks stated during the livestream. “If you don’t believe Megan got shot, I think it’s a joke, but if you do believe Meg got shot, for Eminem or Drake to make a line about it is fβked up.” It’s like, “I don’t believe you, I’m just rapping about something that you lied about or you were not necessary ruthless,” if you don’t think she was shot. It’s not always a diss,” Akademiks remarked.
