Patsy Kensit, 56, says she has given up on finding a man after marrying four times and plans to ‘fill the hole in her soul’ alone – as actress admits she lost everything after her business collapsed ‘overnight’

After four marriages, Patsy Kensit has stated that she has given up on ever finding a guy and is happy to “fill the hole in her soul” by herself.

Although she still believes in love, the 56-year-old actress, who called off her engagement to property tycoon Patric Cassidy earlier this year, stated that she is no longer interested in being in a relationship.

“Hello!” she said. “I’m not interested in a relationship, and I wouldn’t want one.” She declares, “I do believe in love.” However, I don’t need it because I enjoy being by myself and have lived alone for a long time. Right now, I’m just changing my life to fill the void in my soul.

Dan Donovan, a member of the 1980s pop group Big Audio Dynamite, was Patsy’s first husband in 1988. In 1991, the couple got divorced. In 1992, she wed Jim Kerr, the frontman of Simple Minds. James, the couple’s son, was born in 1993, but they separated after three years.

The following year, she married Oasis musician Liam Gallagher, in what is arguably her most well-known union, which lasted until 2000. Lennon is the couple’s shared son. In 2009, she wed Nineties DJ Jeremy Healy, but the two parted ways ten months later.

Patsy continued by sharing how her skincare company, Preciously Perfect, failed overnight in 2021, causing her to lose everything and have to sell her house.

“I had to have a job because people assume I have all this money because of past marriages, and that’s just not the case,” the author told the outlet. I must earn a living.

“[My company] had financial support, but the CEO suffered a stroke.” Although I have always owned a home, I had to sell it and start over from scratch. It was harsh, especially since I had put in so much effort and then all of a sudden I asked myself, “Who am I?”

In addition to launching her own company, Patsy portrayed Sadie King in Emmerdale from 2004 to 2006, played the mother of Lola Pearce, who suffered a fatal brain tumor in Eastenders, and appeared in the Death in Paradise Christmas special last year.

Earlier this year, Patsy told The Mirror, “You don’t have to marry all of your boyfriends.” She has previously been open about her failed marriages.

“I’ve always wanted my sons to have a great relationship with their dads.”

“For me.” Those men and I have not communicated or interacted. Although I don’t have a father, I am highly supportive of their connections with him. I prefer it that way.

After several heated arguments, she reportedly called off her most recent engagement.

Last year, the actress revealed her quick engagement to the entrepreneur, who reportedly proposed to her just a few weeks after their first date.

He is believed to have proposed to the former Holby City star at Scott’s, a seafood restaurant in Mayfair, before celebrating by purchasing champagne for the other guests.

After that, in February, the pair formally became engaged, and Patric proposed on a beachside amid heart-shaped flowers.

However, after a row at a charity event in June, Patsy was allegedly left “visibly distressed” when Patric grabbed her diamond engagement ring out of her hand.

Patsy’s representative informed The Sun on Sunday, just a few weeks later, “I can confirm they have split, and would appreciate that she is given her privacy regarding the matter.” She is working really hard right now.

“The couple has decided to part ways after their whirlwind romance came to an end,” an insider told the tabloid.

Despite their intense love for one another, she decided it was better to end their relationship because she realized they couldn’t make it work in the long run.

“Patsy is putting her all into her career and has a ton of exciting work opportunities right now.”
