Elizabeth Olsen begged ‘to leave a window open’ for the return of her seemingly dead Wanda Maximoff character on Monday during a talk show visit.
The 35-year-old actress during an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live was asked by Jimmy, 56, about the status of her character in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
‘Wanda is as far as we learned in the last Dr. Strange movie dead, right?,’ Jimmy, 56, asked.
‘I think so,’ Elizabeth said.
‘You don’t know, or you won’t say?,’ Jimmy asked.

‘I assume as much,’ Elizabeth admitted.
Jimmy reminded Elizabeth that Wanda aka Scarlet Witch was crushed by rocks at the end of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.
‘Yeah. And there was a red light,’ Elizabeth said. ‘Of explosive energy.’
‘But nobody ever said to you that’s it, it’s the character, it’s dead. That’s the end of the run,’ Jimmy said.
‘I think I’m dead,’ Elizabeth said.
Jimmy suggested they could leave a window open in case she’s not dead.
‘I would beg to leave a window open,’ Elizabeth said.
Elizabeth said she has a lot of fun making the Marvel movies and confirmed she didn’t want Wanda to be dead.

‘No, but I would like to figure out how to cleverly be undead,’ Elizabeth said.
‘If any character could figure that out it seems like Wanda would be the character to figure that out,’ Jimmy said.
‘I think so, too. We need to find the smartest writers to figure out how to make this all make sense,’ Elizabeth agreed.
‘I don’t think anybody is going to have a problem with it if you’re alive,’ Jimmy said as the studio audience cheered along.
Chris Hemsworth, 41, also was on the ABC talk show in an earlier segment and Jimmy asked Elizabeth who was more powerful Wanda or Thor, played by Chris.
‘I think I am,’ Wanda said.
‘I think you’re right,’ Jimmy said.
Jimmy said he believed that Wanda could be more powerful than Thor with his iconic hammer and lightning-wielding abilities.
‘I think so. I think I could probably somehow manipulate and go inside his body and do the same thing he does,’ Elizabeth agreed.
Elizabeth was on the talk show to promote her upcoming movie His Three Daughters that was written and directed by Azazel Jacobs, 51, and also stars Natasha Lyonne and Carrie Coon.
‘It’s a special project that our friend Jacob wrote for all of us. We made it for so, so little in a downtown apartment. And it’s about three sisters who come together to their childhood home to take care of their father in hospice, which sounds very bleak, but it actually has some humor,’ Elizabeth said.
His Three Daughters premiered earlier this month at the Toronto International Film Festival and was released in select theaters in the United States on September 6. before
It is schedule to make its streaming debut on Netflix on Friday.
